Martyna Bartczak was born in 1994 in Krotoszyn. She started to learn the violin at the age of 9 at the Primary State Music School in Krotoszyn, where her teacher was Malgorzata Kaczmarek MA. She graduated with honours in 2014 from the Jadwiga Kaliszewska Secondary Music School in Poznan (Talents’ School), where she had studied violin with Anna Ziolkowska MA. Currently, she studies violin at the I. J. Paderewski School of Music in Poznan with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and his assistant Joanna Kreft.
She participated in a number of prestigious violin competitions:
- In 2006 she won 2nd Prize at the Little Violinist Competition for Pupils in Leszno
- In 2012 she won 3rd Prize at the 2nd All-Polish Festival of Violin for Primary and Secondary Music School Students in Kielce
- In 2014 she earned an honourable mention at the 3rd All-Polish Festival of Violin in Kielce
