Kosciukiewicz Julia – born on 4 August 2004 in Krakow, she started to learn the violin at the age of 6. Between 2010 and 2017, she attended Emil Mlynarski Primary Comprehensive Music School in Warsaw, where her teachers were Alicja Wojakowska MA (2009-2014) and Anna Betley-Gebska PhD (2014-2017). In the years 2017–2021 she continued her education with Maciej Przestrzelski MA at the Karol Szymanowski Comprehensive State Secondary Music School No. 4 in Warsaw. In September 2021 she was enrolled at the Jadwiga Kaliszewska Secondary Music School in Poznan, where she studies with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and Joanna Kreft MA.

She participated in numerous master classes with such professors as: Marcin Baranowski, Jan Romanowski, Yair Kless, Eyal Kless, and Lukasz Blaszczyk.

She won prizes at the following competitions:

  • Honourable mention at the Vivaldi 342 Competition in Wieliczka, 2014
  • 4th Prize at the All-Polish Competition of Miniatures for Violin in Warsaw, 2014
  • 5th Prize at the “O. Rieding – Master of Music for Children” Competition in Warsaw, 2015
  • Laureate Title at the competition held during the “Braque Style” festival, 2018
  • Honourable mention at the Wanda Wilkomirska Competition in Czestochowa, 2019
  • 3rd Prize at the Violin Competition “Like Wieniawski” in Lublin, 2019
  • 3rd Prize at the All-Polish Karol and Antoni Szafranek Forum for Young Instrumentalists in Rybnik, 2020
  • Laureate Title at the 5th All-Polish Forte Festival, 2020
  • 2nd Prize at the 1st International Music Competition “Silk Way”, 2021
  • 3rd Prize at the All-Polish Violin Competition “Like Wieniawski” in Lublin, 2021
  • 3rd Prize at the International Miron Poliakin Violin Competition, 2021
