Urszula Chmielewicz was born on 21 October, 2002 in Bydgoszcz. She started to learn the violin at the age of 5 at the Viva Musica Foundation of the A. Rubinstein State Music School in Bydgoszcz.

Her first teacher was Agata Kopycinska-Karbowniczek MA. She graduated from the A. Rubinstein State Music School in Bydgoszcz. She presently studies at the Feliks Nowowiejski School of Music in Bydgoszcz with Prof. Marcin Baranowski.

She participated in the “Crazy Days of Music” festival, performed as a soloist during the “Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with a Maestro” accompanied by the Capella Bydgostiensis, and took part in the Laureate’s Concert at her music school.

She participated in master classes with Andrzej Gebski and Simona Cartledge.

She was awarded prizes in numerous violin competitions, including:

  • Honourable Mention at the 2nd Violin Meetings in Wloclawek, 2011
  • CEA Director’s Prize at the All-Polish Auditions of Music School Students of Violin and Viola in Warsaw, 2013
  • 2nd Prize at the Competition for Primary and Secondary Music School Students of Violin in Torun, 2013
  • 2nd Prize at the 3rd Gdansk Competition for Violin at the Gdansk-Wrzeszcz Music School, 2014
  • Honourable Mention at the 1st Violin Competition for Secondary Music School Students in Gdynia, 2015
  • Honourable Mention at the 3rd All-Polish Violin Competition in Torun, 2015
