Julia Arminska was born in 2003 in Bydgoszcz, where she graduated from the Artur Rubinstein State Comprehensive Music School. In the years 2010-2013 she learned the piano, and in the years 2013-2016 she learned the violin with Krzysztof Krymer, MA. Between 2016 and 2022 she learned the violin with Aldona Cisewska PhD. She currently studies at the Feliks Nowowiejski School of Music in Bydgoszcz, where her teacher is Prof. Marcin Baranowski.

She regularly perfects her skills during music courses and masterclasses. She has worked with: Prof. Edward Zienkowski (Vienna), Prof. Marcin Baranowski (Poznan/Bydgoszcz), Agata Szymczewska, PhD (Warsaw), Mariusz Patyra, PhD (Bydgoszcz), Prof. Maria Szwajgier-Kulakowska (Katowice), Prof. Jerzy Marchwinski (Warsaw).

Between 2019 and 2021, she was the concertmaster of the State Comprehensive Music School Symphony Orchestra.

She has won prizes at Polish and international competitions, the most important including:

  • 2nd Prize – 17th Juliusz Zarebski International Music Competition – Lomianki 2017
  • 1st Prize – 12th International Music Competition in Serbia – chamber ensemble group – 2021
  • Honourable Mention – 2nd Wilkomirski Family All-Polish Chamber Music Competition – Lodz 2021
  • Honourable Mention – 1st International Chamber Music Competition CraKamera – Cracow 2021
