Glowik Jessica


She was born on 16 October 1994 in Katowice. She started to learn the violin at the age of 9, with Elzbieta Pisarska MA and Ewa Iwan MA, at the Stanislaw Moniuszko Primary State Music School in Katowice. She graduated from the Karol Szymanowski State Secondary Music School in Katowice, where she had studied violin with Janusz Klich MA. In 2005 she won 3rd Prize in the category of duets at the International Violin Competition TALENTS FOR EUROPE in Dolny Kubin (Slovakia). Moreover, she won several times the Prize for Young Creators of Culture of the President of the City of Katowice. She perfected her skills during master classes of violin with renowned violinists and teachers, such as Prof. Marcin Baranowski, Prof. Wieslaw Kwasny, and Arkadiusz Kubica PhD. Presently she studies at the F. Nowowiejski School of Music in Bydgoszcz with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and his assistant Jan Romanowski MS.
