Danielak Maciej


Born on 6 July 1996 in Szprotawa. He started to learn the violin in 2003 at the State Primary Music School in Szprotawa, where his teacher was Barbara Siudmak–Szalata MA. In 2009 he transferred to the H. Wieniawski State Music School in Zagan, where he studied with the same teacher. In 2012 he moved to Wroclaw, where he studied with Tomasz Stocki MA at the K. Szymanowski Music School. In 2015 he was admitted to the K. Lipinski School of Music in Wroclaw. In 2016 he transferred to the F. Nowowiejski School of Music in Bydgoszcz. He studies violin with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and his assistant, Jan Romanowski.

He was awarded prizes in numerous competitions, e.g.:

  • Honourable Mention: 2nd Violin Tournament “Tournament of Friendship”, Zagan 2006
  • 2nd Prize: 4th Violin Tournament “Tournament of Friendship”, Zagan 2008
  • Honourable Mention: 5th All-Polish Violin Meetings for Children, Plock 2008
  • 2nd Prize: 34th S. Bach Regional Competition, Zielona Gora 2008
  • Honourable Mention: 4th Rieding All-Polish Violin Competition, Warsaw 2009
  • 3rd Prize: 36th S. Bach Regional Competition, Zielona Gora 2010
  • 2nd Prize: 7th Lubuskie Violin Meetings, Zielona Gora 2011
  • Honourable Mention: 9th International Competition for Chamber Ensembles, Rzeszow 2014
  • Honourable Mention: 16th International Overview of Chamber Ensembles, Jawor 2014

He perfected his skills during music classes held by the following professors: H. Brunner, A. Gebski, M. Grabarczyk.
