Ewa Ptak was born on 18 June 1998. She started to learn the violin at the age of 6 with Aleksandra Zielinska MA, at the Frederic Chopin Primary and Secondary State Music School in Nowy Sacz. In 2011, she started to train with Krzysztof Biel MA and Prof. Antoni Cofalik.
In November 2013 she won honourable mention at the 2nd International Competition for Young Violinists “I’ll Be a Virtuoso” in Krakow. She perfected her skills during numerous consultations and master classes of violin held in Rybna, Luslawice, Warsaw, Nowy Sacz, Zychlin, and Zakopane, with renowned violinists and teachers, such as Prof. Marcin Baranowski, Magdalena Szczepanowska PhD, Orzechowska PhD, Roman Rainer PhD, Prof. Antoni Cofalik, Prof. Henryk Tritt and Marta Magdalena Lelek. She performed as a soloist with the State Secondary Music School in Nowy Sacz on many occasions, as well as with the Austrian Orchestra of the Musikschule Vocklabruck (at the ”Musik kennt keine Grenzen” Festival in Vocklabruck and in Graz). She presently studies at the I. J. Paderewski School of Music in Poznan with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and Assistant Lecturer Joanna Kreft.
