Joanna Jasiak (born in 2002) started to learn the violin at the age of 7. She graduated from the Ludomir Rozycki Secondary Music School in Kielce, where her teacher was Prof. Marcin Baranowski. She participated in the 26th and 27th Krystyna Jamroz International Music Festival in Busko-Zdroj, and 36th “Musical Festival of the Blooming Azaleas” in Moszna. She performed twice with the Swietokrzyska Philharmonics and the “Virtuosos of Lviv” Chamber Orchestra. She currently studies at the I. J. Paderewski School of Music in Poznan with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and Maxima Sitarz PhD.
She was awarded prizes in numerous violin competitions, including:
- Honourable mention at the J. Kaliszewska All-Polish Violin Competition in Poznan, 2019
- Honourable mention at the 1st W. Wilkomirska Violin Competition of Polish Music in Czestochowa, 2019
- 3rd Prize at the 2nd All-Polish Violin Competition “Be Like Wieniawski” in Lublin, 2019
- Honourable mention at the 2nd W. Wilkomirska Violin Competition of Polish Music in Czestochowa, 2020
- 2nd Prize at the All-Polish Violin Competition “Be Like Wieniawski” in Lublin, 2021
- 1st Prize at the 1st Swiss International Music Competition in Lugano (Switzerland), 2021
