Ewelina Krupa – born on 14 May 1991 in Krakow. She attended the Zenon Brzewski Secondary Music School in Warsaw in the years 2005-2008 and the J. Elsner State Secondary Music School in Warsaw in the years 2008-2010. She presently studies at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and Jan Romanowski M.A.
She was awarded numerous prizes and honourable mentions:
- 2nd Prize in the junior group at the 11th Auditions of Primary School Pupils of Violin and Cello in Limanowa, 2002
- 2nd Prize in the senior group at the 12th Auditions of Primary School Pupils of Violin in Limanowa, 2004
- Honourable mention at the 2nd Violin Tournament in Nysa 2004
- 2nd Prize 10th International Music Competition Castellana Grotte – Italy 2011
- 2nd Prize at IV European Music Competition w Philadelphia in Italy 2012
- 3rd Prize at V European Music Competition Philadelphia – Italy 2013
She participated in numerous master classes (Lancut, Busko –Zdroj, Rostock, Goch, Warsaw, Zychlin, Academy of Art in Zakopane, where she polished her skills with such professors, as Kaja Danczowska, M. Baranowski, W. Jakubowska, M. Lawrynowicz, K. A. Kulka, M. Urbaniak – Lisik, Kravchenko, V. Brodski, A. Cofalik, G. Michael).
Ewelina recorded a pop music CD with a Polish band “Plastic” in late 2009/early 2010. The CD became one of the top ten selling recordings of the Polish multimedia chain, EMPIK.
