Weronika Bagniewska was born on 15 April 1999 in Grudziadz. In 2006, she started to learn the violin at the Stanislaw Moniuszko State Primary and Secondary Music School in Grudziadz with Piotr Jankowski. Between 2012 and 2016, her teacher was Yefim Stinerman. Then she learned with Boleslaw Siarkiewicz PhD. Presently, she studies violin at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski School of Music in Poznan with Prof. Marcin Baranowski and his assistant, Maxima Sitarz.
She was awarded prizes in numerous musical competitions, such as:
- 3rd Prize – 3rd All-Polish Violin Competition “Oskar Rieding, Master of Composing Music for Children”, Warsaw 2007
- 3rd Prize – 4th All-Polish Violin Competition “Oskar Rieding, Master of Composing Music for Children”, Warsaw 2009
- 1st Prize – 3rd Piotr Janowski Violin Competition in Grudziadz, December 2011
- 1st Prize – 3rd All-Polish Violin Festival, Kielce 2014
- Honourable Mention – All-Polish CEA Auditions of Music School Pupils of Violin in Warsaw in 2011
- Honourable Mention – Macro-regional CEA Auditions in Konin, 2017
- Honourable Mention – 16th International Georg Philipp Telemann Violin Competition in Poznan, 2017
